Hello Dear Ones

Greetings from this side of the world! We are doing very good, overall. The Lord has been so amazing in helping us adjust.  Having wonderful fellow believers to make us feel welcome has been so great! Their hearts and hospitality are huge!! It is surely a challenge to me to try, by God's help, to do much better.
A short review of our week and a big thank-you for all your prayers, they are needed and appreciated muchly!!  Sunday found us at Nirman Home where praise and worship was awesome, Louis sat between two drummers and well let's just say he was in the center of it =), Pastor Suresh brought a message on "Faith".  We could not understand the words, but the Spirit is One, Hallelujah!! Tears are sometimes very appropriate.  Had an amazing worship and then a delicious meal with the family. Auntie Lunu, Pastor's wife, is known for her wonderful cooking, and we can agree!! Monday was a little shopping and market for food supplies.  Tuesday, David and Chris went by cycle to Bhubaneshwar to do child info and pics for CAM. Chris went to have fun with the children.  A little hard when the language is an issue. Love, thankfully is universal!  The rest of us had "down" time here. Wednesday, at 6am. Louis, David, and Pastor Suresh left to go stake the land that is being purchased, (thanks for the prayers and please continue praying, so much red tape)! They were to be gone a couple days!!  so imagine our surprise when the door opened and in walked Louis, only an hour or two later!! They were having some political strike, nationwide, and so they had blocked the roads, banks and govt. offices were closed etc. they had to turn around and come home. Now, plans are to go for a pastor's conference, starting this Mon.,Feb.25, in the same town as the where the land is located, and on Wed. hopefully take care of staking the land. We are all planning to go for conf. leaving Sun. the 24th. ( Thanks in advance for praying!)  Thurs. another family day.  Fri.afternoon were excited to go to Nirman Home again and enjoy all the children and have devotions together! Saturday, went shopping with Auntie, and Veronica and I both came home with a couple packages=) to be seen on future blog.
This blog we want to give you a small tour of the "home away from home" we are truly blessed to have!!

Hello and Greetings Family and Friends,

From Cuttack, India, blessings and good tidings in Jesus, our Life our All!  We first want to say thank you to our Father for blessing us before we left, with family and friends with kind hearts and helpful hands !! ( and those who offered ).  For safe travel and helpful people pointing us in the right direction.  For the Mountain of Baggage that God allowed to be loaded in Columbia, SC, and we didn't see it again til Delhi!!! I can't imagine what JFK Airport would've been like with around 550lbs. of luggage!! For the warm hearts and hands waiting to take us to our new home!
We arrived in Bubaneshwar, around 9:30p.m.( the only delay happened in Delhi, we were to have arrived at 7:30.)  We had two cars loaded with us and the luggage and then THE TRAFFIC!!! O dear!! Jon, you warned me... but, obviously there is nothing like being in it!! Every time we arrive at a destination,I have to praise the Lord for keeping us and the hundreds (make that thousands depending how far you go, and it doesn't have to be very far!!) near our bumpers safe!!!  It was around midnight til we got in and settled. We were thankful, yet exhausted (30 hours from home to home!!).
David had the apartment all nice. Plus had put goodies and welcome cards on the pillows! We have a beautiful third floor apartment. We are told it will get almost unbearably hot in April and May!  Try 120 degrees!!! Right now though we are enjoying almost perfect weather!!! 70's-80's =).  We shall enjoy while we can!!
We have now visited three of the ten children's homes. Today we enjoyed our service at the largest children's home, around 130 beautiful children, and they also have lots of people come in for the service! It was a packed house, and afterwards everyone is fed!!!  Beautiful service, though not able to understand the words yet, the Spirit was very powerful!!! I held little ones in my lap, as tears ran down my face, dear ones these people know what it means to WORSHIP POWERFULLY!!! Service began at 10:30 and finished at 2:00p.m. !! I believe it cannot be explained , but must be experienced!!! Let us know when you can come and visit! =)  We are going to try and keep this updated frequently!!   Thanks again SO MUCH for the love, care and prayers!!! We are feeling "covered" and PTL for that!! This is the update and praise post; Louis may add some prayer requests.
Praying all are doing wonderfully back home!!  We love each one of you and wish you God's blessings as you daily serve Him!              Our love and prayers,
